A member of our community has nominated Marc de La Ménardière, aged 44, from Paris, France for an Intention of the Week. Here is his story:
‘In February 2026, Marc was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Although the primary tumor was surgically removed, another tumor has since appeared, and he is currently undergoing a new course of chemotherapy.
‘Marc needs support to help him cope with the side effects of treatment and give him the best possible chance of reducing—and, hopefully, eliminating—the tumor. His greatest wish is to recover, return to life on his family farm, and continue working on an inspiring documentary exploring meaning, purpose and different visions of the world.
‘Your support will help him focus on his recovery, his family and the creative work he hopes to share with others.’
