Aidan Schultz-Meyer, aged 24, who lives in Brooklyn, NY, has had some mysterious health problems for about a year and a half now that no doctor has been able to diagnose.

Here's his description: 'I feel nauseous most of the time, especially after eating meals, no matter what they are. Although I constantly feel like throwing up, I've tried to purge, and nothing happens, because the problem isn't actually with the food I'm taking in. I've had tons of tests done, tried various medications to no avail (including probiotics/supplements from homeopathic doctors), and been told it's just in my head or stems from depression, which I know isn't the case, as I felt perfectly happy and at peace until I suddenly started feeling sick to my stomach one day.
'Drinking even a sip of wine or beer makes it exponentially worse, so I've pretty much quit going to social situations with friends where the main activity is drinking, I also occasionally have night sweats, where I'll wake up completely soaked in my own sweat, and have to change pajamas/bedsheets, sometimes more than once during the night. I'm also often fatigued and feel drained of energy, even though I'm only 24 and I should be in my prime. It's ruined my social life, compromised my working life, hurt my creativity, and the fact that no doctor (or spiritual healer) has been able to help me at all has made me consider suicide at times, because my quality of life has been shattered, and I don't know if I'll ever feel good again.'
