A member of our community has nominated herself, Yolanda Del Hierro, aged 77, from Montrose, Colorado, in the USA, for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
‘I have not worked over 10 months. In August, I broke my knee cap and was in a brace, unable to walk properly or drive for four months. My only income coming in is Social Security, which just covers rent. My car’s engine blew up, and I had to get a used car after obtaining a $5k loan, among many other setbacks. I assisted my daughter with disability in moving from an unhealthy place to a new affordable housing. Consequently, I am in a financial crisis.’
