A member of our community has nominated their mother, Kyungsuk Eun, aged 73, from New York, USA for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
‘I recently learned that my mother has two ovarian tumors, each approximately 15cm in size, with the possibility of more that are not yet confirmed. I would be very grateful if we could include her in our intentions and healing prayers for this week.
‘Her first major surgery is scheduled within the next two weeks. She is feeling very frightened, especially given that my father underwent surgery in 2024 and unfortunately ended up in a coma before passing away.
‘At the moment, she is undergoing additional tests. One doctor has indicated the tumors might be cancerous, while another has advised a “wait and see” approach. Notably, the tumors have shown significant growth over the past three weeks.
‘Thank you so much for holding her in your thoughts and intentions during this challenging time.’
