A member of our community has nominated Hanne Halgren Kastrup, aged 62, from Slagelse, Denmark for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
Hanne has had stage 4 ovarian cancer for more than 8 years. She has had operations as well as chemotherapy several times, and surgery for a brain metastasis about 2 years ago. Now she has cancer in both her body and brain. A biopsy has been taken from the abdominal cavity in order to target new treatment and she has another MRI scan in 5 weeks to see if she needs new surgery in her brain, or how to proceed.
