A member of our community has nominated Caroline Gallaz, aged 51 from Wallisellen, Switzerland for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
‘My best friend Caroline Gallaz, mother of 2 boys (9 and 12 years old), is a lovely mum and kind person dedicated to others. She was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in June 2023. She underwent surgery in July 2023, followed by chemotherapy. In January 2024, she underwent a complex operation but was informed in June that the operation was unsuccessful.
‘In September 2024, she was told that she was in the final stage of the disease with a metastasis to her peritoneum, the membrane that lines the inside of her pelvis and abdomen. Thank you, Lynne, and the Power of Eight ® community for your help.’
