A member of our community has nominated Evie Wright, aged 8, from, Queensland, Australia for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
‘Evie experiences severe short-sightedness and some dysfunction in the photoreceptors in her eyes (the parts of our eyes that enable us to perceive light).
‘Currently, Evie cannot see much past her nose without her glasses and the photoreceptor dysfunction may increase, causing her to lose further vision. The prognosis for her eyesight is currently unclear.’
