A member of our community has nominated Leo Nichols aged 14, from Honesdale, US for an Intention of the Week. Here is his story:
‘At 12 Leo had a brain tumor removed, and as a result he now has cerebellum mutism, a complication after surgery so that he has lost most facility like coordinated movement and speech. This condition took him physically back to being a newborn, but he still has the brain of a 12 year old.’
