A member of our community has nominated Adam Af Ekenstam aged 41, from Västerås, Sweden for an Intention of the Week. Here is his story:
‘Adam is suffering with an acutely leaking, inflamed reservoir made to replace his colon, which had been removedafter several failed surgeries for ulcerative colitis.
’If it doesn’t heal, in January, a difficult emergency 11-hour surgery must be performed.’
