Remember Kathy Lee James, aged 63, of St. Louis, Missouri, an Intention of the Week on July 14, 2019? She’d had a double mastectomy but nominated herself after it was discovered that the breast cancer had recurred neared the incision site and had migrated to the bone, making her a stage 4. Then in late 2018 the cancer began growing in Kathy’s abdomen.
Her oncologist insisted on chemo for six months, but said there was no cure and they are simply “moving the exit date down the road.”
Kathy recently wrote back with some great news:
“Since that Sunday intention I have continued to feel better and better. I have my old energy back and can cook for myself again and do social things and feel like I have reclaimed my life.
“Though the CT scans show no shrinkage of the cancer in my abdomen, they also show no growth. I am claiming that as a victory. My spiritual and emotional health continue to blossom, and I am filled with gratitude every single day. I am grateful to be included in the Sunday healing intention and feel it was a significant part of my healing journey.
“Blessings to all of you and everyone in the community who has sent healing energy and thoughts my way.
“When I have read about others’ positive experience it gave me hope and encouragement. I have signed up for the 2020 Intention Masterclass, which says a lot about how positive I feel about the future and my place in it. Early in 2019 I would never have done such a thing!”
