This week’s Intention of the Week is for Shirley Buller (maiden name Bartles), aged 30, who lives in Shenandoah, Iowa in the US. Shirley has one daughter and three step children. She has developed a rare form of cancer caused from a sarcoma called a Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor (MPNST); the tumors are in her back and have reached her spine. The doctors have performed surgery and chemotherapy, but neither has helped. Currently, she is undergoing radiation, but the doctors have informed her that she has at most a year to live.
Her friend describes her as the most wonderful person I know.
