A member of our community has nominated her sister Suzanne Godin, aged 72, from Rockland, Ontario, Canada for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:

My sister Suzanne, who lives in the Ottawa Valley, in Ontario, was a healthy, active 72 year old when a tumor the size of a grapefruit was discovered in her uterus in April 2024.

She received several chemotherapy sessions between July and October of last year with the intention to shrink the tumor. At the end of November, she had a total hysterectomy. Then in mid-January she began another treatment of daily radiation therapy.

After two weeks, an MRI revealed that the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes in her neck. She is suffering from exhaustion, shortness of breath, bodily pain, bruises all over her body, constant nausea and nose bleeds.
