A member of our community has nominated, Miriam Prendeville, aged 51, from Australia, for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
‘Miriam received a breast cancer diagnosis in August 2022. She pursued natural healing methods for 12 months, but the cancer progressed. By September 2023, it had metastasized to her liver and bones. She consented to chemotherapy, which by December 2023 had eliminated the cancer except in the breast.
Following radiation therapy, she is now in remission, but was recently diagnosed with brain tumors. The medical team has recommended further radiation, yet she remains undecided due to the gravity of the situation.
We hope for Miriam's full recovery.’
