A member of our community has nominated Irene L. Dodge, aged 95, fromFlorida, USAfor an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
“Irene is a healthy woman who started losing her eyesight in her 70s from macular degeneration, which might have been inherited from her mother's side of the family.
“She still has some sight, but her condition is worsening, and it is causing her great sadness because she is still very independent. She is finding it increasingly difficult to use her computer to manage her daily life (pay bills, order groceries, etc.)”
