A member of our community has nominated Hanne Halgren Kastrup, aged 62 from Slagelse, Denmark, for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
‘Hanne had stage 4 ovarian cancer more than 8 years ago.
‘She has been through several chemo treatments and several surgeries, including one for brain metastasis.
‘Hanne participated in an intention of the Week earlier this year, after which she immediately felt better and had more energy. Unfortunately, it now turns out that her cancer is active again with a towering cancer marker and metastases growing intra-abdominally.
‘Hanne is now waiting for a treatment offer after a biopsy. Hanne hopes that there will be an effective treatment for her.’
