A member of our community has nominated Cynthia Jean Dodge, aged 66, from Florida, USA for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:
“Cynthia was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma (cancer of the liver bile ducts) in December of 2022. She underwent conventional chemotherapy, but it failed, and there are no clinical trials for new treatments.
“She has gone through a course of alternative therapies, which seemed to help, but have not eliminated the cancer.
“Cynthia is retiring this month after working 32 years as a public defender. She has a wonderful 30-year-old son, whom she loves dearly.”
