A member of our community has nominated Martina Schaettin, aged 32, from Zurich, Switzerland for an Intention of the Week. Here is her story:

‘Martina was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in the lung, although having never smoked. Sadly Martina's health has suddenly and unexpectedly declined. Doctors recently found that she has developed several tumors in her brain.

‘The tumors in the brain have also caused her to have structural epilepsy. Her PET scan showed that multiple organs already were affected, including her lung, brain, liver, spinal cord and lymph system. After brain surgery she started a treatment which was not effective.

‘She needs the power of the group healing to become well again.’

‘Edith teaches folk dance in the region and travels often. She had surgery for cancer along her hairline a few years ago. Although doctors assured her that the cancer wouldn't return, it has done so, and now her medical team say she needs reconstructive surgery on her nose, in addition to removing the lesions on her upper facial region.’

‘Lene has strong PTSD symptoms when triggered, as a trauma response from an abused childhood. These triggers occur with another person, usually with a friend, when Lene experiences neglect or told she is wrong. Her friendships are not always able to be healed after these episodes. Lene would love to be able to be calm and peaceful when these triggers happen, so she can maintain relationships with loved ones.

‘At 12 Leo had a brain tumor removed, and as a result he now has cerebellum mutism, a complication after surgery so that he has lost most facility like coordinated movement and speech. This condition took him physically back to being a newborn, but he still has the brain of a 12 year old.’

‘Deborah suffered a bleed on her brainstem in January this year. She cannot speak, move her head, neck or body, and has lost the ability to swallow or cough on her own. Owing to medication damage she has lost sight in both eyes. As of November, she is currently hospitalized and needs a miracle.’

A member of our community has nominated her father, Joseph Hollacher, aged 72, from Austria, for an Intention of the Week. Here is his story:

‘I am reaching out on behalf of my father, who has Stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes, spine, hips and soft bone tissues. Currently, he is experiencing significant bone pain while sitting and lying down, as well as recurrent cystitis, which is causing him great distress. It is evident that his condition is deteriorating daily. His right foot has become numb, and he is struggling to move it effectively.

‘Over the years, he has pursued various alternative treatments and has maintained a healthy lifestyle, yet he endured prolonged periods of stress during his career, which initially led to severe intestinal issues. We suspect that this may have been an early sign of his condition.

‘Joseph is dearly loved; he has always been an incredibly kind person, both personally and professionally. His departure from work brought tears to his colleagues' eyes, as he was always immensely supportive of those around him.

‘We would be immensely grateful if you could assist us in setting an intention for him promptly. Bless you, and thank you!’

‘Alison is a participant in the Power of Eight® Masterclass 2024, within the group 'There's a Place.' I am nominating her on behalf of our group.

‘She suffered a significant stroke on May 28, 2024, which resulted in the loss of most of her abilities. However, by August 29, she was able to join our weekly meeting for the first time since the incident, albeit from the hospital.

‘Our collective intention is for Alison to recover fully from her stroke and all associated neuropathic pain.’
